Sleeping Under a Net: Why It Still Matters

Despite decades of progress, malaria remains one of the leading causes of death for children under five in our region. A treated bed net, used correctly and every night, dramatically reduces a child's risk.

Practical tips:

Tuck the net fully under the mattress with no gaps, re-treat or replace nets that are torn, and make sure every child in the household sleeps under one — not just infants.

If your child develops a high fever, chills, or unusual tiredness, don't wait — early treatment saves lives.
